Job summary

Reintegration Support Network (RSN) seeks a Mentor Program Consultant to support underestimated youth and emerging adults facing challenges related to substance use, mental health, and/or justice involvement. The mentor provides one-on-one guidance, linking participants with community resources and encouraging self-advocacy and healthy relationships.

You will collaborate with the RSN Director of Programs and program managers, attend onboarding, trainings, and monthly meetings, and help

Qualifications

• Age 21+
• Lived recovery experience or allyship (2+ years)
• At least 1 year experience working with youth/emerging adults
• Resides in Durham, Orange, or Chatham County, NC
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Access to transportation
• Background check required

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one mentoring to youth and emerging adults.
• Promote belonging and self-advocacy within the RSN program.
• Coordinate with service providers and connect participants to resources.
• Assist participants in setting and achieving wellbeing goals.
• Complete onboarding, training, and ongoing education.
• Attend monthly mentor and supervision meetings.
• Engage in community outreach and enrichment activities.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with program guidelines.
• Build relationships with participants and RSN team.
