Job summary

FLIPANY is seeking a part-time instructor to deliver hands-on health and nutrition education to youth in Palm Beach County. You will mentor students, run engaging wellness activities, and support program goals in after-school and community settings.

The role requires 2+ years working with children, a Florida driver’s license, and the ability to travel between sites. Per diem opportunities may be available; shifts are weekday afternoons, 1:30–6:00 pm.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with groups of children.
• Background in Child Development/Behavior, Psychology, or related Social Sciences.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to sites.
• Commitment to health and wellness and ability to model it for youth.

Responsibilities

• Arrive prepared with materials, set up and clean up at each site.
• Deliver in‑person wellness and nutrition education to groups of 15–20 youth.
• Guide hands‑on activities including healthy cooking and gardening.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and address behaviors.
• Plan ahead using curriculum, confirm site details and scheduling.
