Job summary

Sycamores is seeking a Community Wellness Specialist - Educational Support Services to deliver behavioral and academic interventions that promote safety and academic success for at-risk youth. You will help develop coping skills and ensure transfer of those skills to school, home, and community.

The role includes wellness-focused interventions, travel between client locations, and coordination with a student team to support positive outcomes for students and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or AA degree with one year of direct care experience; two years preferred, or Bachelor's with one year direct care experience.
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable vehicle; proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to travel between client locations; driving is an essential function.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral and academic interventions to promote safety, academic success, and attachment.
• Develop coping and problem solving skills and transfer them to school, home, and community.
• Support wellness and build resilience through linkages and referrals to community resources.
