Job summary

The Hockomock Area YMCA is seeking a Youth Wellness Coach in Foxboro, MA. You will engage and support youth and teens in fitness programs, helping them develop healthy habits in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include supervising the wellness space, teaching proper exercise techniques, promoting classes and personal training, and ensuring equipment safety. CPR/AED/First Aid certification is preferred or willing to obtain.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for youth fitness and teens.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with youth and teens in fitness programs under the Health & Wellness Director.
• Monitor the fitness area, ensuring safe and proper use of equipment.
• Greets and engages members, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
• Educates and encourages youth and teens in leading healthy lifestyles.
• Provides guidance on proper exercise techniques and equipment usage.
• Promotes personal training, fitness classes, and other wellness opportunities.
• Maintains a clean, organized Wellness Center.
