Job summary

City of Evans is seeking a Youth Sports Official for Volleyball to coordinate and supervise youth programs in a safe, engaging environment. You will oversee registered participants, coaches, and volunteers, ensuring fair play and adherence to rules while promoting positive sportsmanship across sessions and facilities.

The position requires being a current student or having a high school diploma, at least 16 years old, and a valid Colorado driver’s license within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must hold a high school diploma or be a current student.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must have played the sport and grasp the sport rules.
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License or ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Officiate and supervise youth sports.
• Oversee the use of recreation facilities and equipment.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere and promote sportsmanship.
• Work with the Sports Specialist and Recreation Coordinator to serve participants.
• Remain impartial and fair to all teams and participants.
