Job summary

City of Billings is seeking a part-time Volleyball Coach for after-school programs serving 3rd–5th graders. You will teach basic volleyball skills, organize practices, and supervise games in a supportive, safe environment.

The role requires knowledge of volleyball rules, ability to work evenings during the season (Feb 15, 2027–Apr 3, 2027), and reliable transportation to events. Uplifting and professional conduct is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Knowledge of volleyball rules and bylaws preferred.
• Experience with managing youth activities.
• Reliable transportation to and from games.
• Positive role model with good sportsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and develop basic volleyball skills for 3rd–5th graders.
• Direct team practices and play in games.
• Supervise gym and coordinate with parks staff; oversee facility, coaching, and scorekeeping.
