Job summary

Tennyson Center for Children is seeking a Youth Treatment Counselor to support students with IEPs and treatment plans within a collaborative educational and clinical team. The TREE program helps prepare young adults for independence through life and job skills activities.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, tutoring, behavior management, and collaboration with clinical staff to ensure a safe, engaging learning environment on campus in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
• Colorado driver's license is required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans and IEPs as directed by clinicians and teachers.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring and small group instruction to support learning and social-emotional development.
• Maintain engaging academic and life-skills activities aligned with TREE program goals.
• Support positive behavior through structured, therapeutic approaches on and off campus.
• Collaborate with TREE clinical and education staff on classroom management and safety.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Services/related field or equivalent experience

Colorado driver's license
