Job summary

New Hope Carolinas Inc. is seeking a Therapist to provide direct counseling to residents in a multidisciplinary treatment setting.

The role includes conducting individual, group, and family therapy with a manageable caseload and coordinating treatment planning with families and guardians. The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in a human services field and be license-eligible in South Carolina (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT).

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a Human Services field.
• ABA experience a plus.
• Must be license eligible in the state of South Carolina (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, if transportation is required.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and state-mandated clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family therapy services to residents with a caseload of 10 or fewer individuals.
• Completes comprehensive clinical assessments within required timeframes.
• Maintains clinical documentation accurately and timely per standards.
• Maintains communication with families, guardians, and referral sources.
• Provides updates on resident progress and participates in treatment and discharge planning.
• Maintains professional boundaries and HIPAA compliance.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
