Job Summary: The Therapist is the primary provider of counseling services, coordinating all treatment activities for residents on their caseload. We follow a trauma-informed, evidence-based, individualized approach to care. Our team includes Utilization Review Specialists and Case Managers who handle authorizations and discharge planning, allowing therapists to focus on therapy.

Essential Functions:

1. Provide individual, group, and family therapies to residents (caseload typically 10 or fewer).
2. Complete comprehensive clinical assessments within designated timeframes.
3. Maintain all required clinical documentation promptly.
4. Communicate regularly with families, guardians, referral agencies, and courts, providing updates and involving them in treatment planning.
5. Deliver at least 10 hours of therapy, including individual, group, and family sessions.
6. Assist with crisis intervention and planning.
7. Participate in team meetings and contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).
8. Supervise and guide residents according to treatment plans.
9. Ensure the safety and well-being of residents.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in a Human Services field with at least one year of behavioral health experience.
• License eligible in West Virginia (LSW, LMSW, LISW-CP, LISW-AP, LPC, LPC-S, LMFT, LMFT-S).
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
