Job summary

Goodwill Keystone Area is seeking a dual‑role Youth Services/Project SEARCH coordinator to support high schoolers and young adults with disabilities in Berks and Schuylkill counties.

This role provides community work‑based learning, job shadowing, supported employment, internships, and coaching to develop job skills, workplace behaviors, and employability while collaborating with OVR, families, schools, and local businesses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Human Services or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with youth with disabilities and transition services is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Completes intake meetings and paperwork to determine interests, skills, and abilities for work-based learning or job shadowing.
• Documents progress and maintains records per OVR requirements and Goodwill's reporting systems (ETO).
• Participates in meetings with OVR, transition staff, families, schools, and business partners to plan opportunities.
• Provides on-site support and monitors client progress at sites, developing and adjusting fade plans as needed.
• Supports successful job or internship placements through training, supervision, and coaching on task performance and behaviors.
• Represents Goodwill Keystone Area professionally to clients, families, and the community.
• Delivers group or individual instruction on Work Readiness, Self-Advocacy, and Independent Living skills.
• Ensures client data confidentiality per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Travels to meet business needs and support service delivery in multiple counties.
