Job summary

Goodwill Keystone Area seeks a dual-role Youth Services/Project SEARCH professional to support high school students and young adults with disabilities in Berks and Schuylkill counties. The role delivers work-based learning, job shadowing, and internships while coaching essential job skills and workplace behaviors.

Collaboration with OV R, families, schools, and local businesses helps identify suitable work sites for successful transitions into employment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or suitable combination of education and experience.
Ability to communicate effectively and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

Complete intake and plan development to determine interests, skills and abilities.
Document progress in required reporting systems (ETO) and prepare coaching plans.
Meet with OVR, Project SEARCH and families to plan future opportunities.
Provide on-site support, monitor sites, and develop fade plans as needed.
Assist in coordinating interviews and job/internship placements.
Represent Goodwill Keystone Area professionally to clients, families, and partners.
Deliver group or one-to-one instruction on Work Readiness and related skills.
Travel to schools, client residences, and local businesses as needed.
Promote workplace safety and ensure regulatory compliance.
