Job summary

Advocates is a Massachusetts-based organization providing In Home Therapy, Therapeutic Mentoring, and In Home Behavioral Services for children and families. We support youth up to age 21 through home and community activities, coaching, and training in behavior, communication, and problem-solving.

Join a collaborative treatment team with weekly supervision and ongoing training. Evening and weekend availability is required; starting rate is $20.42/hour with progressive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a counseling or related field.
• Experience with children, families, and adolescents preferred.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage youth in social, recreational, athletic, and artistic activities at home and in the community.
• Participate in provider team meetings and coordinate with youth, family and collaterals.
• Implement interventions to support youth and caregivers.
• Provide member transportation as needed for service delivery.
• Assist in treatment planning and intensive family therapy coordination.
• Coach decision-making in crisis and non-crisis situations.
• Attend care planning, school, and hospital discharge meetings.
• Provide referrals and linkage to supports and services.
• Conduct outreach to engage members and families.
• Evenings and at least one weekend day required.
