Mercy Home for Boys & Girls in Chicago seeks a licensed or eligible clinician to provide individual, group, and family therapy in a residential setting.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, coordination with an interdisciplinary team, and active engagement with youth, families, and community partners. Strong documentation, CPI-based de-escalation, and commitment to the Mercy Model are essential. Pay range is $66,500-$67,500 annually.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related clinical field.
• Clinical experience with youth trauma, preferably in a residential setting.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Ability to work three nights per week until 9:00 PM.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly individual therapy sessions for youth in the program.
• Conduct at least one weekly group session for youth.
• Engage parents/guardians in treatment planning and family therapy.
• Lead quarterly Individual Treatment Plan reviews with the team.
• Coordinate with the agency nurse on medical and psychiatric appointments.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation (ITPs, transition summaries, therapy notes).
