Job summary

Hopeworks Camden, a Newark-area nonprofit, seeks a Training Room Lead to assist in all operations under the Training Room Manager. You will welcome trainees, coach interns, and help manage training sessions using Google Calendar, while supporting daily data entry into Salesforce.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, is detail-oriented, and comfortable teaching non-technical users in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in applications such as G-Suite, Codepen, WordPress and Figma.
• Able to communicate and teach non-technical users clearly.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
• Train Interns on technical programming and lead ongoing coaching.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a supportive community by welcoming and orienting new Trainees/Interns.
• Coach and monitor Interns as they work with Trainees.
• Utilize Google Calendar to schedule training and preparation sessions.
• Support the Training Room Manager in Supervisory sessions.
• Assist Trainees in key training room skills.
• Monitor progress data and report to Salesforce databases daily.
• Develop, lead, and support technical and professional development workshops.
• Other duties as required.
