Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools' Minnetonka Community Education Center is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee a youth t-ball league for children ages 3-5. You will help create a safe, fun environment, coordinate game days, and support volunteer coaches.

This role requires strong communication, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to professionalism. First Aid and CPR certification are preferred, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Evidence of successful experience in working with young children.
• Evidence of successful experience in program leadership.
• Evidence of excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Evidence of ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Certified in First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Set up site and equipment for games; replace at the end of the day.
• Assist, supervise and help train volunteer coaches; offer coaching support as needed.
• Maintain game schedule. Assist coaches in keeping games fun, safe, and under control.
• Greet coaches, players, and parents before play begins; review game rules with coaches; welcome spectators, introduce teams, and announce games.
• Maintain equipment.
• Maintain First Aid Kit and issue items when needed.
• Monitor fields and rest rooms for safety and appropriate use; be visible and accessible to users at all times; enforce District policies.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism.
