Job summary

Swim School Greenwich is seeking a part-time Swim Coach for the Pre-Competitive Program in Greenwich, CT. The role focuses on developing youth swimmers through stroke technique and competitive readiness.

The ideal candidate has prior coaching experience, strong communication, and a passion for youth development. CPR/First Aid or Lifeguard certs are preferred or willingness to obtain; USA Swim Coach certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior swim coaching experience required.
• Strong background in stroke technique and swimmer development required.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills required.
• CPR/AED, First Aid, and/or Lifeguard certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
• Certified USA Swim Coach (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-competitive coaching for youth swimmers.
• Demonstrate stroke techniques and swimmer development strategies.
• Maintain a safe coaching environment with CPR readiness.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff.
• Balance technique-driven coaching with a fun, athlete-centered approach.
