PCC employs over 150 seasonal and part-time staff to support various community efforts. PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE

As a Swim Coach, you will help young swimmers build confidence, develop their skills, and discover a love of swimming in a fun, supportive environment. Through engaging practices, intrasquad meets, and team events, our coaches create an experience where every swimmer can succeed both in and out of the pool.

PRINCIPAL WORKING RELATIONSHIP

The Swim Coach is part of a collaborative and supportive aquatics team, reporting to the Swim Team Supervisor and working closely with the Aquatics Coordinator, Programs Director, and fellow coaches. Coaches build positive relationships with swimmers, families, and PCC members while creating a fun, welcoming environment where every swimmer can thrive. Training and ongoing support are provided, making this a great opportunity for both new and experienced coaches.

  • Arrive prepared and ready to contribute to every practice, meet, training, and team event.
  • Communicate schedule changes promptly, assist with shift coverage when possible, and work collaboratively with the aquatics team.
  • Represent PCC with professionalism, positivity, and a team-first attitude while helping create an outstanding experience for our members and guests.
  • Support other duties that contribute to the success of the swim team, aquatics department, and PCC's mission.
