Public Equity is seeking a compassionate Youth Support Specialist to provide direct support and case management for youth in our youth services program. The role emphasizes building relationships, coordinating services, and facilitating healing-centered activities.

The ideal candidate has experience with youth, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to trauma-informed, youth-centered services.

Qualifications

• Experience with youth, families, or community-based programs.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to build trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and youth-centered services.
• Experience in case management, youth development, behavioral health, or nonprofit services preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide individualized support and case management to an assigned caseload of up to 30 youth.
• Conduct outreach, build relationships, and maintain consistent engagement with participants.
• Coordinate youth screenings, intakes, and follow-up appointments.
• Connect youth and families with community resources, healthcare, insurance assistance, and supportive services.
• Support youth groups, psychoeducation, and healing-centered activities.
• Collaborate with the Lead Youth Specialist and clinical partners to coordinate participant services.
• Maintain accurate case notes, participant records, and required documentation.
• Follow organizational policies, confidentiality standards, and program requirements.

Position Summary

Public Equity is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and organized Youth Support Specialist to provide direct support and case management services to youth enrolled in our youth services program.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with youth, strong relationship-building skills, and a commitment to helping young people overcome barriers and access resources that support their personal growth, stability, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support and case management to an assigned caseload of up to 30 youth.
