Qualifications

Job description

Experience with martial arts is preferred. In this role, you will coach children of various ages, with classes starting at 3 years old and going up to 18 years. Birons has been serving the community for 50 years, and we are deeply committed to our customers, staff, and the community. We are seeking someone who loves working with kids, is passionate, and eager to learn. Birons offers flexible hours, competitive pay, paid training, and a rewarding experience. Compensation is based on education, certifications, and experience. We are looking for candidates available for part-time evening hours.

NinjaZone is a nationally recognized program that combines obstacle course training, gymnastics, martial arts, and street dance, offering a dynamic environment where kids can thrive and stay active. Work hours are flexible, with classes running from 3 pm to 7 pm on weekdays and 9:45 am to 12:45 pm on Saturdays. Responsibilities include coaching high-energy NinjaZone classes, guiding athletes through warm-ups and dynamic stretching, developing fine and gross motor skills, leading obstacle course training, teaching introductory gymnastics rolls and skills, dance moves, and martial arts techniques, managing groups of kids, ensuring safety supervision, and communicating with parents at the end of each class (think - American Ninja Warrior!).

  • Experience with martial arts preferred.
  • Able to operate at a high activity level.
  • Strong yet caring character capable of managing a group of young boys or girls independently.
