Job summary

Birons in Houston is seeking a part-time NinjaZone coach to lead classes for children aged 3–18. You will supervise sessions from 3 pm–7 pm on weekdays and 9:45 am–12:45 pm on Saturdays, guiding warm-ups, skills development, and obstacle course training. Experience with martial arts is preferred, and a nurturing, energetic approach is essential to motivate and engage young athletes.

Responsibilities

• Coaching high-energy NinjaZone classes and guiding athletes through warm-ups and dynamic stretching.
• Develop fine and gross motor skills and lead obstacle course training.
• Teach introductory gymnastics rolls, dance moves, and martial arts techniques.
• Manage groups of kids and ensure safety supervision.
• Communicate with parents at the end of each class.

Experience with martial arts is preferred. In this role, you will coach children of various ages, with classes starting at 3 years old and going up to 18 years. Birons has been serving the community for 50 years, and we are deeply committed to our customers, staff, and the community. Work hours are flexible, with classes running from 3 pm to 7 pm on weekdays and 9:45 am to 12:45 pm on Saturdays. Responsibilities include coaching high-energy NinjaZone classes, guiding athletes through warm-ups and dynamic stretching, developing fine and gross motor skills, leading obstacle course training, teaching introductory gymnastics rolls and skills, dance moves, and martial arts techniques, managing groups of kids, ensuring safety supervision, and communicating with parents at the end of each class (think - American Ninja Warrior!).
