UW Health Riverfront YMCA is seeking a part-time Youth Sports Instructor to lead classes and clinics in tumbling/cheer and other youth sports sessions. The role emphasizes safe, engaging environments for children ages 18 months to 12 years, promoting teamwork, skills, and character inside a YMCA setting.
The position requires working Tuesday and Friday evenings with occasional weekend clinics, at $15.00 per hour. CPR/First Aid certifications must be obtained within 90 days.
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Youth Sports Instructor is a year-round program serving youth 18 months - 10 years of age. Programs may include basketball, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, tumbling/cheer, and dance. The instructor is responsible for the development and implementation of youth sports curriculum and program sessions. The Youth Sports Instructor facilitates relationship-based, quality programs, sports leagues and instructional classes that deeply engage members in the YMCA. Staff will provide a quality experience to children and parents with focus on quality program operations.
