i9 Sports offers youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics for kids ages 3-14 in popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and baseball. Focused on fun, safety, convenience, and good sportsmanship, we aim to reinvent the youth sports experience for families nationwide.

Job Summary

The Instructors and Officials are responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Instructor builds relationships with players, parents, and coaches, ensuring the delivery of quality instruction and observing, assessing, and assisting coaches. The Official enforces rules, fosters a positive culture, and acts as an impartial coach and advocate during games.

Responsibilities

Instructor

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practices focusing on fundamentals, skills, and fun
• Teach core concepts including sportsmanship values
• Supervise practices and games
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent customer service
• Assist with refereeing
• Set up and break down fields

Official

• Enforce game rules ensuring fun, safety, and learning
• Demonstrate sportsmanship and core values
• Manage game time, score, and age-appropriate instruction
• Maintain a positive attitude and customer service skills
• Set up and break down fields

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge
• Self-motivated and problem-solving skills
• Ability to ensure player safety and take charge in situations

• Availability to work weekends during the season (approx. 7 weeks)
