Job Summary

The Instructors and Officials enhance the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Instructor builds relationships with players, parents, and coaches, ensuring the delivery of quality instruction. The Official enforces rules, fosters a positive culture, and acts as an impartial coach and advocate during games.

Responsibilities - Instructor

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practices focusing on fundamentals, skills, and fun
• Teach core concepts including sportsmanship
• Supervise game day operations
• Maintain a positive attitude and excellent customer service
• Assist with refereeing
• Set up and break down fields

Responsibilities - Official

• Enforce i9 Sports rules ensuring fun, safety, and learning
• Teach sportsmanship and core values
• Manage time and score during games
• Maintain a positive attitude and customer service
• Set up and break down fields

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Sport-specific coaching experience

• Ability to ensure player safety and take charge when needed
• Positive attitude and relationship-building skills
• Availability to work weekends for a 7-week season
• Ability to pass a background check
