Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County is seeking a part-time youth sports program instructor to lead basic sports activities for children aged 3–5. The role requires high energy, initiative, and reliable weekend and evening availability.

You will maintain records for programs, design sport-specific activities and drills, and handle refereeing and scorekeeping as needed, in a community-focused setting. Minimum age 16, prior experience with young children, and knowledge of several sports are essential for

• At least 16 years of age.
• Prior experience working with children ages 3 - 5.
• Knowledge of various sports and how to teach each on a very basic level
• Ability to maintain the interests of young children, by thinking ahead and moving quickly during transitions
• High-energy and initiative is a MUST
