Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County (Ohio) is seeking a Youth Sports Instructor to help run recreational programs for youth. You will assist with setup, instruction, and maintaining a positive, safe environment for participants.

The role requires weekend and evening availability, initiative, strong communication, and the ability to work with staff, parents and coaches. Starting pay is $11.30 per hour, with opportunities to grow in community recreation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must have initiative and ability to complete basic task with sports equipment and field maintenance.
• Must present professional image and be able to create harmonious relationships with staff, participants, parents and coaches.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and conduct recreational sports; set up, score keeping, tear-down.
