Frederick County Government is seeking part-time youth sports instructors to teach a range of activities for children aged 2.5 to 11 years. Classes occur at Frederick County schools, recreation centers, and parks and run in 6-week sessions with flexible weekday day/evening hours.
Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, maintaining equipment, recording attendance, and delivering engaging instruction with clear, age-appropriate communication.

Non-exempt; part-time; up to 6-20 hours per week; weekday daytime and/or evening hours during 6-week program sessions, with occasional weekend sessions; no-benefits
Instructors will teach a variety of structured sports skills and techniques (beginner through advanced) to individuals 2 1/2 years to 11 years old. Sports include but not limited to;basketball, flag-football, floor hockey, golf, pickleball, t-ball, soccer, multi sports, tennis and volleyball. Class sessions are located at various Frederick County schools, recreation centers, and parks. Location, schedule and duration of each class/program will be determined as appropriate. Necessary equipment will be provided by the Division of Parks and Recreation. Supervision is received from the Recreation Specialist.
