Elmhurst YMCA in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a part-time Sports Instructor to lead youth sports programs with high energy and a positive environment. You will plan and implement sports activities for various age groups, teach fundamentals, supervise participants, and coordinate with parents and staff to ensure a safe, engaging experience.

Must be 16+ and have prior sports or coaching experience. Flexible hours and opportunities to grow within the YMCA are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Prior experience in sports or specialty coaching/playing.
• Comfortable working with multiple age groups.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements sports programs per YMCA goals.
• Teaches fundamentals by age/skill level.
• Supervises youth/adults to ensure health and safety.
• Maintains positive relationships with parents/guardians.
• Provides day-to-day guidance to staff and volunteers.
• Maintains fair, consistent discipline and equipment.
