Youth Sports Coach for Toddlers and Preschoolers

Join Amazing Athletes JumpBunch of Southern CT as a Youth Sports Coach for toddlers and preschoolers! Are you passionate about sports and helping young children stay active? This part-time position offers flexible morning and early afternoon hours, competitive pay, and the chance to teach children ages 18 months to 6 years the fundamentals of various sports in a fun, non-competitive environment. Our goal is to promote healthy habits and build confidence in young athletes while ensuring they have a great time!

Responsibilities

• Teach basic sports skills to children in a safe, engaging, and encouraging manner
• Maintain positive relationships with parents, teachers, and staff at daycare and preschool locations
• Ensure a fun and supportive environment that fosters confidence and healthy habits

Requirements

• Reliable with a flexible schedule, primarily mornings and early afternoons
• Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (professional experience preferred but not mandatory)
• Positive attitude, love for sports and teaching young children
• At least 18 years old with a clean criminal background check
• Reliable transportation for traveling within the community (traveling of 30+ minutes may be required; reimbursement available for long distances)
• CPR certification is a plus, but not required

Benefits

Competitive pay ranging from $17.00 (training) to $21.00 (fully trained). Staff is entitled to at least 1.5 hours of minimum pay per shift. Flexible part-time hours with morning and early afternoon classes.
