Job summary

Elevo Learning is seeking a youth sports coach to lead practices for students in grades 3–8. You will teach traditional and non-traditional sports, emphasize teamwork, and model positive sportsmanship in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching youth sports or mentoring students.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead groups of up to 20 students.
• Commitment to inclusive, supportive environments.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct daily practices for grades 3–8.
• Teach sports skills in traditional and non-traditional games.
• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship and collaboration.
• Prepare students for games with strategy and rules.
• Organize competitions ensuring broad participation.
• Support social-emotional growth and confidence.
• Monitor student wellbeing and provide mentorship.
• Communicate practice schedules and progress with families.
• Maintain safe, inclusive environment and equipment.
