Job summary

SOCCER SHOTS BALTIMORE-WASHINGTON is seeking an intern to gain hands-on experience in youth sports management. You will coach on the field and support programs in the office, contributing to community events and marketing efforts within the DC/MD/VA area.

The internship runs August 17 to December 4, 2026, with 30+ hours per week and weekend availability. Training, development, and advancement opportunities are provided, along with flexible scheduling and uniforms.

Qualifications

• Passion for positively impacting children’s lives through the love of sports and fitness.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior soccer experience is not required; prior experience working with children is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle that is insured.
• Transportation requirement: interns must commute to Burtonsville office and travel to coaching sites 30–45 minutes away.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• FALL Internship Dates: August 17 - December 4, 2026.
• Hours: 30+ hours per week.
• Must be able to work on the weekends.
• This internship is primarily a coaching role, with involvement in marketing, operations, and events.

Responsibilities
