Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking an Official to play a pivotal role in game-day operations, enforcing rules while cultivating a positive culture; you’ll act as an on-field coach and advocate for the programs. This role directly impacts players, coaches, and spectators at every game day.

You’ll promote safety, teach core sportsmanship values, time and score management, and deliver excellent customer service. A flexible schedule, weekend and evening hours, and a commitment to fun are essential in this

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to enforce rules.
• Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and solve problems.
• Awareness to take charge to ensure player safety.
• Ability to build professional relationships with teams and families.
• Weekend and some evening availability for the full season.

Responsibilities

• Understand and enforce rules books to ensure fun, learning and safety for all players.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship values.
• Keep time and score; manage age-appropriate instruction and competition.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service consistently.
