Job summary

The Youth Soccer Official role at i9 Sports is a pivotal on-field position that enforces rules while cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for our programs. This role impacts players, coaches, and spectators at every game day.

You’ll be responsible for upholding safety, sportsmanship, and fun, with a focus on great customer service and a team-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience.
• Motivated self-starter; able to work independently and solve problems.
• Awareness and ability to take charge to ensure player safety.
• Positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and some evenings for the season duration.
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Understand and enforce i9 Sports rules to ensure fun, learning, and safety for all players.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values.
• Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition.

Job Summary

The Youth Soccer Official is a critical role in any sports field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day.

Responsibilities

• Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety for all players


• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values


• Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition


• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
