Children's Soccer Coach (2 - 8yr old Children)

Soccer Shots- West Valley region (Woodland Hills, Tarzana, Encino, Reseda etc)

$25 an hour - Part-time

Soccer Shots is a non-competitive soccer program for children 2-8 years old with a focus on character development. We are looking for enthusiastic coaches to positively impact children on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum, and communication. Our ready-to-use curricula allows you to focus on making class fun for our young athletes without worrying about what to teach.

If you’re looking for part-time opportunities in the Valley (Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Van Nuys etc) and are:

  • dedicated to having fun with young children
  • care about character development, which is part of our curriculum
  • know how to use sport in working with kids
  • have a genuine love in helping kids succeed

we would love to meet you. We are prioritizing hiring soccer coaches who will be available for multiple sessions throughout the week and specifically for our afternoon sessions (most afternoon classes start setup between 2:30-3:15pm). This part-time soccer coach position is available immediately.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Essential Soccer Coach Qualifications:
  • Availability – Weekday availability (*Tues, Wed, Thur preferred) as well as Saturday mornings (8:30 am - 12:00pm).
  • Children THRIVE when they have consistent coaching; we are looking for coaches who can stay with us for a year or more.
  • Fun & Silly – MUST enjoy teaching young children; your goal is to make Soccer Shots the best 30-45 minutes of each child's week.
  • Reliable transportation – must have safe and reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver’s license.
  • Background check cleared – must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
  • Tb test results
Preferred Soccer Coach Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children
  • CPR/First Aid certified or ability to attain if needed.
  • Previous teaching or education/coaching experience (preferably children ages 2-8)
