Youth Soccer Coach (Ages 2-9)

Locations: Lockport, Plainfield, Lemont, Homer Glen, New Lenox, and surrounding areas.

Job Type: Part-Time at $20/hr - Training $15/hr

Soccer Shots is a nationally recognized youth soccer program that focuses on character development and skill-building for children ages 2-9. We provide a positive and engaging learning experience for every child, with a strong emphasis on teaching life skills such as teamwork, respect, and confidence through the game of soccer.

Job Description:

Are you passionate about soccer and love working with children? Soccer Shots is looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Youth Soccer Coaches. As a coach, you will deliver our age-appropriate curriculum in a fun, safe, and engaging environment.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours, competitive pay, and an opportunity to make a lasting impact on young athletes in your community.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead soccer classes for children ages 2-9.
2. Create a positive, fun, and educational experience for every participant.
3. Follow the Soccer Shots curriculum to teach soccer fundamentals and character-building concepts.
4. Set up and break down equipment for each session.
5. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during sessions.

Requirements:

1. Enthusiasm for working with children and fostering their growth.
2. Available between 9:00am - 2:00pm 2-3 days a week, not including Sundays. Late afternoon and early evening availability is a plus.
3. Knowledge of soccer fundamentals (playing/coaching experience preferred).
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Reliable transportation to and from session locations.
6. Ability to pass a background check.
7. Lives within 20 minutes of the area and is available for multiple seasons.
8. Excellent communication with our leadership team, parents, and directors.
