Job summary

i9 Sports Corporation seeks a Sports Coordinator to enhance the youth sports experience for players and coaches. You will build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring instructional aspects are delivered. You will observe, assess, and assist coaches with practices and games across age groups and skill levels.

The role involves hands-on involvement in practices and games, with emphasis on safety, sportsmanship, and delivering fun experiences for families within the league.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with players, parents, and coaches.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
• Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently.
• Awareness and ability to take charge to ensure safety of players.
• Positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships.
• Ability to work weekends and some evenings during the season (~7 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practices with fundamentals and fun.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship.
• Supervise overall operation of designated sport on game day.
• Maintain a consistently positive attitude and deliver superior customer service.
