Job description

We are looking for coaches for weekends after school programming Monday - Friday from 3PM to 5 PM. We work with multiple locations in Pilsen to Hyde Park.

Super Soccer Stars offers coaches competitive pay, flexible schedules, on-the-job training, and bonus incentives. Compensation starts at $21/hour and rates increase up to $35/hour.

About the company:

Starting on the Upper West side of New York City over 20 years ago, Super Soccer Stars has grown to 20,000 children a week program in: New York, California, Boston, Miami, Chicago, Philadelphia, Texas and Washington, DC. At Super Soccer Stars, it is our goal to teach soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment.

Day-to-day Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Teach an energetic and motivating class, connect and challenge each child, and help them to accomplish motor development goals and inspire a love of movement and healthy habits in an organized, structured, and fun manner.
2. Effectively and clearly communicate issues to the office and provide solutions.
3. Show up on time to class.
4. Equipment set-up and break-down.
5. Provide hands-on individual and group attention to children.

*** Part-time position between 10 - 15 hours a week. Potential for more hours based on availability and your ability to deliver an awesome soccer session.

Requirements

• For this location a car is preferred unless the candidate is local and able to use public transportation.
• Weekend mornings (9 am – 1 pm) and/or weekdays (9 am – 5 pm).
• Punctual, willing to learn and accept feedback.
• Prior experience working with children.
• Must be motivated, energetic, patient, and attentive.
• Hands-on, dynamic, and outgoing.
• Meets company background check requirements.
• Communicative and dependable.
• Arrive 15 minutes early to all classes.
