Job summary

Soccer Shots Central Iowa is seeking a passionate part-time soccer coach to lead sessions for children aged 2-8. You will deliver Soccer Shots curriculum with energy and creativity, focusing on age-appropriate skills and character development.

No prior coaching experience is required, but a genuine love for guiding kids is essential. You’ll work a flexible schedule with mornings and/or Saturdays, and have the chance to advance into fuller roles in the organization.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for children and sports.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• No prior coaching experience required; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Conduct soccer sessions for children aged 2–8 using Soccer Shots curriculum.
• Bring “Soccer Island” to life with enthusiasm and creativity.
• Foster character development through positive reinforcement and role-modeling.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive environment and follow on-site safety protocols.
• Communicate with families and teachers about sessions and progress.
