Job summary

Soccer Shots Central Massachusetts is seeking a passionate part-time soccer coach to inspire children ages 2–8 during playful, developmentally focused sessions across local fields and facilities.

You will implement Soccer Shots’ curriculum, create a safe, inclusive environment, handle setup and breakdown, and communicate with families to celebrate progress.

No prior coaching experience is required; we value energy, reliability, and a love for kids, with flexible scheduling that fits your life.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for children and sports.
• Energetic, engaging, and responsible.
• Safety conscious.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 2-8.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills.
• Coaches must have or obtain state-required clearances.

Responsibilities

• Bring “Soccer Island” alive with enthusiasm and creativity.
• Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down.
• Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.
• Utilize Soccer Shots curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment and communicate with families.
