Youth Soccer Coach & Development Coordinator - Year Round

Part-time Youth Soccer Instructor & Coach Development Coordinator opportunity offering competitive pay, community impact, and personal fulfillment! This position is ideal for Petaluma, Novato, and San Rafael residents, students, or parents seeking a consistent weekly schedule.

*This role begins as an Assistant Coach with an expedited path to become a Lead Coach after completing required training and onboarding hours.*

Schedule & Availability

• Minimum 20-25 hours/week; required availability: Monday-Thursday 1-5pm, Saturday mornings
• Optional additional hours: Monday-Friday 9-11am, Sunday mornings

Super Soccer Stars has been a leader in youth soccer for over 22 years, recognized as the largest program in the US. We focus on an age-specific curriculum for children ages 1-10, emphasizing fun, progressive skills, and confidence building.

Position Overview

Join us as a local ambassador for our newest youth soccer program! We seek an energetic, reliable, and engaging Soccer Coach to foster a love for soccer in a positive, non-competitive environment. The role offers growth into a Coach Development position with additional hours once familiar with the curriculum and leading classes.

Compensation

Starting at $25/hour as an Assistant Coach, increasing to $30/hour upon transition to Lead Coach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classes following our customized, age-appropriate curriculum
• Provide individual attention to ensure success for every child
• Create a fun, stress-free environment using a non-competitive approach
• Encourage and celebrate children's successes with positive reinforcement
• Attend regular training sessions and adhere to the coaching manual

Requirements

Schedule

• Weekdays: 9am-12pm (optional), 1pm-5pm (required)
• Saturdays: 9am-12pm (required)
• Sundays: 9am-12pm (optional)

Location

Classes are held at local schools, parks, and recreation centers in Novato, San Rafael, and Petaluma. Travel up to 15 miles each way may be required.
