Job summary

Soccer Shots is seeking part‑time coaches to lead youth soccer sessions for children aged 2–8 at day care centers, parks, and preschools across the Greater Pittsburgh Area. Each session runs 30–35 minutes and coaches are scheduled flexibly based on location and availability, with a commitment to a safe, fun, non‑competitive experience that emphasizes creativity and development.

Qualifications

• Experience with youth in the 2–8 age range.
• Energetic, reliable, organized.
• Driver’s license / car required; clean background check.
• High school degree preferred; must be at least 18.
• Willingness to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of 5–12 kids for pre‑planned weekly soccer sessions.
• Arrive 15 minutes early to sessions, prepared to coach.
• Commit to coaching at least two seasons each year (winter, spring, summer, fall).

About the Position

At Soccer Shots you can do just that! Soccer Shots is a program that introduces soccer to children aged between 2-8 in a fun, non-competitive and creative way. We operate at over 70 locations throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Area (Allegheny, Westmoreland, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, and Washington Counties) and the program is growing, offering coaching opportunities at local day care centers, local parks, preschools and more.

Pay & Schedule

Pay for this open position is $18 per 30‑35 minute session coached.

• Flexible schedule – work when you are available
• Part‑time coaches typically have between 5‑25 sessions per week depending on location and availability (sessions are 30‑35 minutes in length)

Qualifications

• Experience with youth (ages 2‑8) in some capacity
• Energetic, reliable, organized
• Driver’s license / car required
• High school degree preferred; must be at least 18 years old
• A successful candidate must pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of 5‑12 kids for pre‑planned weekly soccer sessions
• Arrive at session location(s) early (15 minutes prior to start time), prepared and ready to coach
