Job description

We are looking to hire an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach! (no prior soccer experience required)

Who will lead our children in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety for all. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader), and enjoys working with children. This position is excellent for someone who has an interest in pursuing early childhood education, or child development. New Coaches can work 5-25 classes a week and can earn from $18 per hr up to $40 per hr.

Responsibilities:

• Use individual attention to ensure every child has success
• Implement a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun with a stress-free environment
• Utilize positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success
• Engage in continuous learning and improvement by attending regular training and following the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual

Requirements:

Age: Must be at least 16 years old

Education: High school diploma with some college (preferred)

Transportation: You must hold a valid driver's license, and reliable personal transportation as you could find yourself working at multiple locations in a day.

Schedule: The ideal candidate would be available most Monday-Saturday mornings and/or afternoons.

Location: Classes are held at schools, daycares, pre-schools, parks, and recreational centers across NOVA. Depending on the location of the coach's primary residence they may be required to travel up to an hour to get to a class location.

Required Skills:

• Being physically active, punctual, and organized
• Ability to work with kids ranging from 18 months to 15 years old
• Demonstrates a history of integrity, doing what is right even when nobody is looking
