The Salvation Army in Australia seeks a Team Leader, Youth Services to guide a team of youth caseworkers and counsellors, delivering high-quality, client-centred services across Wyong and Hamilton. This parental leave cover runs through to December 2027, with SCHADS Level 5 pay.

You will lead service delivery, supervise staff, and ensure programs align with funding and organisational standards, with a strong emphasis on outcomes for vulnerable young people.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Social Work, Welfare, Community Development or related field (or equivalent sector experience).
• Extensive experience in youth or community services.
• Minimum 2 years' experience leading and supervising staff in social services.
• Knowledge of case management and trauma-informed practice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver client-centred youth services.
• Oversee day-to-day service delivery, including intake, case management and support planning.
• Provide guidance on complex case management matters.
• Drive continuous improvement of service delivery practices and processes.
• Monitor service performance, compliance, budgets and client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting while fostering a collaborative team culture.
