The ideal candidate enjoys working with families, demonstrates initiative, has strong technology skills, and is proficient in Spanish. Schedule includes daytime, evenings, and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide patron services and respond to questions.
• Experience working with children/youth is preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct youth programming and outreach.
• Provide reference and reader's advisory at the desk and during outreach.
• Assist with collection development and weeding as needed.
• Support library technology implementation and use.
• Promote library services through publicity and outreach to schools.
