• Provides reference and advisory services to youth and parents.

Skills

Knowledge of principles and practices of current librarianship

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Knowledge of children's and young adult materials

Ability to work independently

Education

Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited university
