Qualifications

• Experience engaging with youth in restorative justice or similar context.
• Ability to conduct intakes, assessments, and goal setting.
• Strong advocacy and navigation of community resources.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with youth on-site and in community settings to ensure access to support.
• Conduct interviews and assessments and develop Self-Determined Life Maps with resources.
• Collaborate with program staff to connect youth to leadership and advocacy opportunities.
• Provide orientation and training to staff, interns, and volunteers on guiding principles and procedures.
• Plan and oversee Self-Determination activities, culture circles, and youth-driven projects.
• Coordinate early career exploration, scholarships, college tours, and mentoring opportunities.
• Engage participants as community experts and create leadership-based opportunities.
• Monitor referrals and maintain relationships with external agencies and system partners.
• Participate in strategy meetings and local campaigns as needed.
• Support youth in navigating systems such as juvenile justice and foster care.
