Job summary

Brandeis University is seeking a Residential Coordinator to supervise staff and support teens during the December Retreat. Responsibilities include overseeing programming, logistics, and guest speakers, while coordinating with the Project Director remotely for orientation.

You will also meet with the Project Director prior to the retreat and assist with supplies, staying in the hotel with participants and educators. This role emphasizes positive mentorship in a Jewish community setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teens or youth groups.
• Background in camp counseling or religious education helpful.
• Strong interpersonal and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend the December 20-23 Retreat and stay in the hotel with students and educators.
• Supervise B2L Community Educators and provide guidance and support.
• Oversee all Retreat programming (pre-planned).
• Oversee all Retreat logistics and programmatic needs.
• Serve as the point person for instructors and guest speakers during the Retreat.
• Plan and attend Retreat Orientation via Zoom with the Project Director.
• Meet with the Project Director 2-4 times before the Retreat to plan/organize.
• Assist with bringing supplies to the hotel and returning them to Brandeis.
• Act as a positive Jewish role model for B2L participants.
