Carrier Clinic, a behavioral health system, has provided compassionate help and supportive healing since 1910.

Our East Mountain Youth Lodge offers out-of-home residential treatment for adolescents aged 13-18, providing 24-hour clinical, therapeutic care for emotional, behavioral, psychiatric, and substance abuse issues, based on individual resident needs and strengths.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a role model demonstrating healthy interpersonal relationships and appropriate behavior for patients, families, and staff.
• Utilize a nurtured heart approach for supervision, behavior management, and counseling tailored to youth needs.
• Build relationships and support adolescent development through behavior modules.
• Lead resident group meetings, coordinate recreational activities, and participate in group functions.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with one year of experience working with youth in a group setting.
• OR an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a non-social work/psychology field with six months of relevant experience.
• OR an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, or related fields.
