Arrow Child & Family Ministries is seeking a responsible professional to supervise Residential Counselors and provide daily care for children in a supportive, structured environment. You will oversee scheduling, documentation, and adherence to treatment plans while promoting professionalism in staff-resident interactions.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with relevant experience in child welfare or related field; a bachelor’s degree with less than 3 years of experience is also acceptable.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED with 3+ years of experience working with children and families.
• Or a bachelor's degree with less than 3 years relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in management of a team of Residential Counselors, including scheduling and staff management.
• Supervises children in activities to observe changes in social behavior.
• Completes shift documentation including residential case notes, incident reports, and resident inventory.
• Observes methods and techniques of clinical staff and participates in treatment of children through interaction, limit setting, and implementation of treatment plans.
• Promotes professionalism with counseling staff ensuring dress code and appropriate staff-resident interactions.
• Escorts children to groups, interviews, meetings, mealtime, recreation, education activities, medical appointments, and supervision.
• Maintains age-appropriate rules and enforces the behavior management system during work, recreation, and education activities.
• Trains and models skill sets to Residential Counselors.
• Supervises administration of medication and documents medication administration as ordered.
• Works to promote pro-social behavior by residents and prevent negative behaviors.
• Maintains professional boundaries between self and residents to ensure appropriateness in working relationships.
• Provides crisis intervention as needed.
• Communicates information to facilitate treatment and attends trainings and required meetings.
• Shares Arrow Child & Family Ministries mission and vision with staff, clients and families.
• Teaches rules, manners, policies for interpersonal relationships, and personal care.
• Reviews client files quarterly and periodically for completeness and progress towards service plan outcomes.
• Performs duties within contract, state, and federal regulations and COA standards.
• May be required to drive Arrow vehicles and complete vehicle training.
