Job summary

D.I.V.E Opportunity Homes in California seeks a responsible administrator to oversee daily facility activities and ensure resident welfare. You will conduct school checkups, communicate with counselors, and review complaints with decisive action.

The role requires leadership, clear communication, and crisis management skills, plus the ability to supervise staff, manage relationships with families, and coordinate weekend outings with the Facility Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a behavioral science field.
• Experience with adolescents exhibiting behavior issues is required.
• Managerial experience in a childcare facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations and ensure safety and compliance.
• Conduct bi-weekly school checkups for each resident.
• Send weekly emails to the resident's school counselor about behavior.
• Review complaints and decide actions to address them.
• Be available Monday 6–7pm to discuss neighbor complaints.
• Plan special weekend outings with the Facility Manager.
• Monitor vehicle and facility maintenance; bi-weekly car wash.
• Bi-annually review staff DMV records and insurance.
• Train new staff members.
• Assist on grocery or food bank days.
• Order subscriptions or purchase reading materials.
