Job summary

Youth Opportunity is hiring a Facility Maintenance Worker in Nashville, TN to support Walnut / Rosewood Youth Academy. You will maintain a safe, clean, and functional facility within a residential treatment setting for youth and staff.

Responsibilities include managing building services, conducting inspections, overseeing safety measures, coordinating maintenance projects, and assisting program managers to ensure a welcoming, secure environment 24/7.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage building services including maintenance and groundskeeping.
• Conduct regular building inspections for safety and upkeep.
• Oversee safety and security measures, including facility closures.
• Monitor security systems and access control.
• Coordinate maintenance projects and contractor activities.
• Track facility fire and health inspections and resolve deficiencies.
• Support program managers with maintenance needs.
